Bechdel Theatre Podcast

Welcome to the first ever Bechdel Theatre Podcast! Originally created as a Twitter campaign in 2015 by Beth Watson and now a 50-minute women-in-theatre audible feast! Bechdel Theatre is directly inspired by the famous Bechdel Test which looks at gender representation in film - only now british theatre is under the microscope.

RashDash Theatre Company are Abbi Greenland, Becky Wilkie and Helen Goalen. They have been making shows together since 2009, and have been called "The punk princesses of late night theatre". Their new show Three Sisters (after Chekhov) is at The Yard London until June 9 and Tobacco Factory Bristol June 12 - 16
 
Helen's #FeministFave was playwright and RashDash collaborator Alice Birch.
 
Becky's #FeministFave was singer/songwriter Regina Spektor.
 
Abbi's #FeministFave was her follow members of RashDash (see above!).

Jennifer Tang is the director of Mountains: The Dreams of Lily Kwok, which is currently touring and can be seen this month in Derby, Watford, Sheffield, Hexham, and Coventry.
